OUR STORY

Pin-So existed under the corporate name « La Boîte à Pin-So » since October 3rd 2003. On February 1st 2010, Carole Majeau acquired the business from Sonia Blanchet and created a stimulus plan to enable growth under the corporate name « La Boîte à Pin-So 2010 ».

In 2012, Pin-So began to participate annually in the « Salon des arts décoratifs et visuels ». This showcase helped to raise the business' visibility both locally and provincially and place Pin-So in the market as a reseller of its artists' art patterns in shops in both Quebec and New Brunswick.

On January 1st 2014, Carole Majeau incorporated the business under the corporate name « Pin-So inc. » to shape the company for the next growth step that included the addition of a shareholder.

In June of 2014, Pin-So left the second floor on route de l'Église and settled down on the ground floor on Chemin Sainte-Foy, doubling its area. This new efficient space and easy access brings great pleasure to its customers and employees.

In March of 2016, Pin-So launched its online shop within the website. Every product, class and service was now offered online.

In September of 2016, Pin-So acquired « Les Éditions CDP ». This business publishes and distributes patterns from more than 30 artists, and offers more than 1 800 patterns within its website: www.editions-cdp.com.

Today, Pin-So relies on a team of six artists who produce artwork and patterns to animate their art classes and to resell patterns and art supplies. Furthermore, Pin-So upholds relationships with famous artists who come to the shop to give intensive seminars for the customers. Amongst them, we find some prestigious names such as Daniel Vincent, Gérald Trudel, Nicole Coulombe and Marc Galipeau.
